Ripoff, dishonest, waste of money! Wiser to put the money for the warranty in the bank and use it to pay for the next repair in your home

American Home Shield is the biggest rip off! We battled with them over replacing our air conditioner all summer. It took multiple calls to get a service man out and the one they sent was difficult to understand and his knowledge level was questionable. He claimed the unit needed to be repaired due to lack of maintance even though I had copies of service for maintance being done. And the company didn't even follow threw with the claim. It was 110 degrees here and I spent 2 weeks trying to work this out with them.

2 attempt to use warranty: I tried to get someone out to look at our washer and it took 2 weeks to even get a phone call.

I called customer service and cancelled the warranty and we are still getting letters stating that we owe them for the rest of the "contract" or they are going to turn it over to collections. How can they request payment when they wouldn't even hold up their end of the contract?

I would never purchase this warranty again! What a rip off! It would be wiser to put the money you pay for the warranty in the bank and use it to pay for the next repair in your home.
