The help program
It was suppsoed to be a rent to own program, but it was a scam and they just took our money!

We did a rent-to-own program with "The Help program" and it did cost quite a bit - we could have rented for half the price that we paid per month, and we had to put down 2500.00. We did everything they asked, and were never even late or anything on any payment.
When we were able to buy the house it did not appraise for as much as originally thought 2 years ago -which is fine, but instead of working with us on it, they were going to try and make us pay the difference -which was almost 100 thousand dollars, or we could not live there anymore. Who can come up with that? And no bank will loan you that much more than the house is worth.
So-we were out all of this money, plus we had to move from the house that we loved. Plus they made us pay a penalty of 1500.00 more! -because we did not buy the house. We had no choice. -And they would not work with us at all! -we have heard of this happening to other people too. I know the housing market is not that great, but it is not our fault.
