UQP, Inc, Magazine Scam in Phoenix, AZ!

Two teenage boys came to my door selling magazines to earn points. They said that whom ever earned the most points would win a trip. They were very nice and personable. After noticing that I am a football fan we began talking about the last superbowl and the teams. So I gave in.
They said they could not accept cash only checks. They showed me a receipt with the business name, address and phone number on it. I even called the number and spoke to a lady that comfirmed this was a stand up business.
So I placed my order, wrote them a check for $49.00 and began my wait. That was in Feburary 2010. It is now June. My check was cashed in March. I have yet to receive a single magazine and now no one answers the phone number on the receipt nor do they return messages.
My bank can't help and neither can the police from what they have told me. I am out $49.00 for my kindness to these kids.
