Rings are Pot metal FAKE! NOT gold!

We bought not one but two rings from cubicjewelry.com - After the center stone fell out of one ring and the prongs broke off on the other ring I took them to my jeweler to get the stone replaced adn the prongs repaired. What a SHOCK! The rings are made of cheap pot metal. They are NOT sold 14K gold like cubicjewelry.com advertises. Once the large center stone was gone on my engagement ring it was clear that something was not right, then my jeweler cut the ring in half and to my shock!!! It was a dull grey metal color inside.
When I contacted cubicjewelry.com about a year ago about one of the rings turning my finger black, "Howard" told me that it was the chemicals in my skin and that the rings are solid 14K gold. At the time I thought that may be because the rings are less expensive that ones in the jewelry stores and that maybe the karat purity of the gold was a little off.
