Promised date of delivery delayed by 2 weeks

I was promised delivery from Montreal to Saskatoon between December 3-6 and was actually delivered on December 15th. So i slept for 2 weeks on the floor of my new apartment with no appliances. They told me there were problems outside their control. On another occasion they told me some deliveries were canceled so they were waiting for more orders so they could send those together with mine. I called and followed up with Terry (Teresa) for 4 months (until April of next year) registering my complaint and trying to get compensated.

First she said can't do anything. I pursued, so she said send an email. Then she went for vacation so i couldn't get hold of her. Then after her 3 week vacation she came and told me to send the email again as she could not find it. Then she said she did not have time as she had to catch up with work that had gathered up while she was on vacation. Finally, after much persistence on my side, they sent me a $100 gift certificate and the original amount they had charged me was $2300; as if I'm going to use their services again.

DO NOT use their services. They lure you in with the low price; but then they delay your shipments and do not deliver on the promised date.
