Cub Foods
Greg, Store director. Cashier, Kelly A warning to cub shoppers in Forest Lake

Shops, Products, Services

Before buying sale items, check for restrictions in small print. I am retired so I have to watch what I spend. I recently purchased two items with a marked price of $3.99. When I got home I checked my reciept and found they charged me $8.89 each for a total of $17.78. I almost blew my dentures out when I seen that. I called Cub and explained what they had done to me. They said to bring the receipt in and they would refund the difference. When I got there The cashier that had as much personality as a burnt our light bulb told me she could only refund the difference on one package. She said there was a limit of one. I went back to check the price and there was no indication of any limit.
I will no longer be doing business with Cub foods again. They just opened a super Wall-Mart in Forest Lake so i will be shopping there. At one time businesses had some integrety. Something that is hard to find today. This has more to do with principle than money. I just got ripped off.
