ALEX (known as but not real name) Sandor Smajda STOLE MY MONEY AND RAN!

Alex Sandor Smajda and his partner Bill Beecroft, both from Toronto area, were sent to me by a friend. This friend claims he had no idea what they were like. Alex Sandor Smajda's company is CTD Homes in Richmond Hill, Ontario and Bill Beecroft's company is called Web Enterprises in Toronto, Ontario.

They took a total of $18,650.00 from me for two different floor jobs. Needless to say the one started was a total wreck! Not only done completely wrong and unprofessional but the products used were also not the right ones. This was for a marble job which they left a mess, chipped, stained, not level, wrong grout where they did grout, the majority was left ungrouted as they saw their mess and disappeared. They were supposed to put my baseboards back on and cupboards taken apart were supposed to be put back together. None of their contract was done or even attempted to complete.

Alex, Sandor Smajda, of CTD Homes is a true crook! He ordered 810 sq. Ft. Of walnut wood floor and asked me for $8000.00 to go pick it up so he could complete it in order for me to get my stuff out of storage. This began at the beginning of March and he only ordered the flooring on April 20th. I have a copy of the invoice to put me off the track that he never meant to buy the floor but just keep the funds I gave him. He even put his credit card down as collateral for the company Quality Rugs of Canada Limited in Richmond, Hill, Ontario and disappeared from site afterwards.

When Quality Rugs of Canada tried to put the purchase through his card (Visa) it failed over and over again. Repeatedly many different professionals have tried to get him to return my $8000.00 for the wood floor as I needed it so that I could stop paying for storage as well as sleeping on a cement floor in a sheet and blanket.

I am disabled; had spinal surgery and have major health issues. I am at an age where this money is like a million to someone else as I can't work and am legally labelled disabled by the government. They both took advantage of the fact that the pain I experience is alot to cope with in a day never mind crooks out to get me at my age!

They left the condo in shambles and pictures were taken as proof. They show clearly the state of everything. A report has also been made by a respectable professional contractor who has been in business for over 30 years now. It took his men over two days just to clean up the mess at a cost of over $1000.00 just for manpower. The total rubble and dirt they left was unbelievable. Something I had never experienced in all my life and I am not young.

The Company he ordered the wood floors from and many many others witnessed all and have kept proof for me. I am definitely going to try to get back my $8000.00 which he admits he spent on himself and had the audacity to leave a verbal message on my voicemail that he didn't have it for the floor and he spent it and owed it to me.

Where am I supposed to get funds now to rectify all and be able to move in here. This whole situation is literally killing me! Sleeping on the floor, no kitchen to cook in either and what a mess. I can't sleep, eat or think straight because of this. It will definitely end up being my end as I have high blood pressure also.
