Beware of rebate scam, they think consumers are stupid

I contacted DirectTV and was told I get the 1/2 OFF deal, I was excited, until I got the 1st bill almost 3 x of what I was told it would be. I fought and called and they decided since I submitted the rebate which is hidden, and only they know about it, they say oh it's platered all over the site, yes terrible customer service, CORPORATE SCAMMERS!!! They say I submitted the REBATE THE SAME DAY, so therefore I do not qualify for the 1st 2 months rebate which is 3 x what I was quoted, I had to pay regular price because they bill a month in advance, 1st 2 mos regular price, the remaing 12 months I would get the agreed on price. THATS A SCAM!!! I submitted my rebate on the same day but you must submitted they day before you get service. They would not adjust it, i hate getting my money taken by a big company who practice scamming new customers, because they prey on you not knowing.
