Nasty telemarketing firm

I'm a real estate broker in California.in June TELENIUS called me to offer pens customized with my business information. They arrived quickly and although they were of very poor quality, I had recent family losses so I was unmotivated to complain.

HOWEVER, here's my complaint: During the next 6 months I received VERY high pressure marketing calls from them about every 10 days. I asked them to back off a bit, perhaps calling me 2-3 times per year. They persisted and as time went by, I became more direct. They told me they'd remove me from their list but didn't. Then they pretended to be potential home buyers, but I recognized the number on my phone. Next they started blocking their number and pretending to be buyers, just to irritate me. (I could hear laughter in the background.) I asked them politely several times to stop, and they were extremely rude in return.

Finally I located names of the operators and sent a registered letter with a copy to my attorney. I never heard from them again:

Gentlemen:

I have clearly and politely asked your telemarketers numerous times to stop calling me. Their response is always sarcastic and rude, followed by an abrupt disconnect.

Recently your staff has begun blocking the caller ID function and misrepresenting the purpose of their call. Evidently this has become a game for them. When I confront them and ask them again to stop calling, they get nasty and hang up. These abusive and harassing calls must stop!

Do whatever it takes to remove my name and contact information from your system, and to insure that I have no further contact of any kind from Telenius, its employees, or anyone remotely connected to your firm.
