Ripoff

In short, this Credit Monitoring Services (CIC) should be banned and sited for their unfair consumer practices!!!
Today, I received a call from the my bank in refernce to my account being overdrawn because a charge of 79.95 posted to my account which put the account in the negative. Of course, I did not know of or even expect a charge to my card for $79.95. I informed the bank of this and told them that this was not an authorized transaction. Then I proceeded to ask where the charge was coming from and they informed me that is was Credit Monitoring Service (CIC).

At that point it did not register to me because I didn't remember dealing with such a company until I searched the name and it brought up a link that said rip-off by Consumerinfo. After reading the report I was simply appalled that my situation is another rip-off by Credit Monitoring Service (CIC).
So, I called the 1-888 number and was on hold for 10 minutes until I finally spoke with a representative who asked my the same questions they asked the person who wrote the first-consumer complaints. (Can I have your credit card number or your social security number).
Like the past consumer I declined giving the representative my social security number over the phone and she informed me that I had to give it to her to verify the cancelation of my services which I had already done three months ago!!! I am still in the process as I am writing this report, trying to clear up this situation. If I would have known what I know now about this company I would have Never, Ever, dealt with them. Buyer Be Aware is an under statement for this one! Very, Very disappointed and pissed off consumer!
