On Aug. 15 I received a call from this company stating that I was approved for a credit card with a $2500.00 limit. Paid 159.90 for the card. I was told that my information packet and card would arrive in 7-10 business days. When it did not arrive I contacted the company only to be tranferred to an answering service. When I finally got to speak to someone they told me that it takes 15-21 business days due to the fact that they have 3rd class mail. I waited for the 21 day mark and still received nothing. I contacted them again and they said that if I paid another $25 throug electronic checking that they could start the activation process which meant that as soon as I received the card that I could use it and that I should be receiving it any day now. Still nothing. I called again and He promised me that they would rush it to me and I would have it no later than the 29th of Sept. I even had one agent tell me that if I set up a Fed-ex account that they could rush it to me overnight. I called them back with my Fed-ex # and still received nothing. I called back and when I threatened to call a lawyer I was connected to a supervisor who told me that the $25 fee did not come out of my account until the 9th of Oct. And to allow another 10-15 days. I reluctantly gave them another chance. He also told me that they would rush me another information packet which I still have not seen. Since then, this company has withdrawn monthly payments, 2 just this month for $14.95 and another fee that they say was a fee to print the card. I was bouncing checks because I was not aware of these fees until I received my bank statement. I didn't understand why I was being charged a monthly fee for something I don't even have. The $25 activation fee was never taken out of my account because they forgot to record the conversation of me giving them the permission to do so. Then they tried to get me to let them take it out then and there, I said no. I have since had to close
my checking account to stop these deductions. I called Consumer Rights in Ill. And filed a report. They told me that they have had so many complaints about this company from all over the country. If you are also a victim, you should contact Consumer rights also. Call your states BAR Association and they can give you the #. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB in Ill. Let's put this company under! File as many complaints as you can!
