Purchased a saw saw on Wed 3-17-10 prong on plug broke on 3-19-10 I paid 194.00 for this item. Tried to return it for a new one on 3-19 and the manager refused and was also rude. My employee called me and stated the manager refused to warranty the item. I asked to talk to the manager and they refused. My employee stated that the manager said no and walked off then the customer service employee threw the saw on the counter and was also rude.
I am now going to send all my business to Lowes have put a sign in my shop to inform my customers of the rip off and rude behavior of Home Depot. I have also closed my charge account with Home Depot and am having my dad close his.
I have been in the auto repair business for 41 years and if I treated my customers this rude I would not still be here.
