Bedding World
Ripoff sending severe damaged merchandise through con-way transportation service and refuse to take responsibility

I have purchase a set of mattress from Bedding World of Houston, Texas. It was delievered throught Con-way transportation service, the mattress were arriving with very dirty plastic wrapping. Deliver guy asked me sign the receipt before he left.

After we open the wrapping, we found the mattresses were severely damaged. The fabric of at least 3of4 sides of each mattress were torn off. There were 5-6 quarter-sized holes and more than a dozen smaller-sized ones. Along with these holes were a couple of long, oily, and black residues on the fabric. Also a couple of corner pads on the mattresses broke off.

We immediate contacted shipping company as well as Bedding World. The owner of Bedding world blamed us should not to accept the package, if I don't accept it, how could I open the package and found the damage? I paid price for the new mattresses not the damaged or used one, no matter whatever the reason caused damage, Bedding World should held liability for the damage.

Because she sold mattresses to us and arranged Con-way to do the delivery. It been over two weeks, I haven't heard any word from Bedding world since last time I talked to her.
