Two Months to Replace One Part Charged Almost Three Times What He Said It Would Be

We contacted Doug with Water Dog Pool and Spa Repair in the begining of October. He came out to look at our hot tub and found that the "pack" needed to be replaced. He told us that a new one would be $800.00 but he could check his shop for a used one so it wouldn't cost as much. He said it would cost a couple hundred dollars if he found a used "pack".

Weeks went by and we never heard from Doug. My husband called him multiple times and left him messages.

Doug finally said he would be out to the house to fix the hot tub in December. He showed up to our house but did not do anything.

My husband called him many more times because he never said why he didn't fix our hot tub. Finally he showed up and replaced the "pack" with a used one.

We did not receive a bill from Doug until the begining of January. When we opened the bill we were shocked because it was over $600.00. My husband called Doug who claimed that he specified that the part would only be a couple hundred dollars not the bill.

If we had known that It would be over $600.00 we wouldn't have had Doug fix the hot tub.

Doug is a flake. I Do Not recomend Water Dog Pool and Spa Repair to anyone. It took over two months for him to replace one part and then he charged us $85.00 an hour for 5 hours of work.

Whatever you do, Do Not Use Water Dog Pook and Spa Repair. You will be disapointed and charged way more then it's worth.
