Infested with mice

We moved in the apartments in July. There was no background check, no reference check, just a deposit and we got the apartment. That kind of worried me, but we needed a new place so I just shrugged it off.By September our quaint little apartment was infested with mice! In a matter of a day we caught four. I informed management but they didn't get back to me about the matter until I had to inform them again as the problem got worse (11 mice) three weeks later! The manager told me that there was nothing she could do unless other people in the building reported the same problem. We were forced to wait out the problem. We set traps, used chemicals, and patched holes around the place. We're clean people, it wasn't our fault that we had mice. But management refused to do anything about it.
Other complaints about the apartment are that our heaters didn't work, the laundry washers and dryers would eat your money and/or not get your clothes even remotely clean or dry, the apartment wasn't cleaned before we moved in, and we didn't get our full deposit back for b.S. Reasons.
We were only there for a year and that was plenty.
