Fees upon fees and lies upon lies pushy to sign contract charges with no equipment

The first offer was $29.95 a month (install yourself). Since I have no land line at home I had to purchase a router that Protect America offered which would also raise the monthly charge to $34.95 a month. When the equipment arrived we realized that it would not work with our computer. Protect America then offered equipment that would use wireless signals to operate the alarm system. At that time we were told there were no extra fees it would "only" raise our monthly charge to $39.95 a month and that nothing woud be charged to us until the system was working in our home. There was a rush from Protect America to get the contract to us by email and for me to sign, scan, and email back immediately "so they could send out the other equipment". I then mailed back the security system and kept the router and sign as advised by Protect America. The next day there was a charge of $118.45. When I called to ask about the charge they explained that it was for the router and remote purchased. I never received a remote which at that time thought it was on its way. One week later I noticed a charge of $309 taken out of my account. When I called in regards to this Protect America then explained that charge was for the "upgrade". At this point I still had not received the equipment and no services was being provided. When I told them I wanted the money back that I was told no charges until everything was hooked up and operating. They then said they could refund that money but the monthly charge would be $49.95. I told them I didn't want their services and I would send it all back. They then asked do you have a landline. I stated no but if I did what would that do for me. They then said they could drop the price back down to $39.95. The original deal was $29.95! I have just mailed back all the equipment. They did let me know that there would be a restock charge of $79 and a shipping fee of $19.95. That must be for the stuff I never got to begin with.
