$4000 is a lot of money. Especially if you are out of work and have to charge it on a credit card. I would have NEVER agreed to do this if anyone from Quest had told me up front that what their program consisted of was to teach me how to cold call random companies where they had no established relationships or leads!!!
What I was sold on, and signed up for, and paid for, was Networking and ALL of the promises per their agreement and corresponding paperwork. According to Quest, they could and would put me in front of the right people. I was told I would be introduced to a number of important decision making individuals and also told that in these days and times it was all about who you know. This never happened. I was given a total of seven names that lead absolutely no where. As a matter of fact, most of the contacts I was given either never returned my calls or expressed their frustration at Quest continuing to give their name as a contact.
I was given pages of business that I was to cold call printed by area codes I selected from a sheet. Additionally, I was given poor job leads that were either 50 miles from my home, had no current job openings and/or were jobs that I was not qualified for. What I did receive was a new resume and interview training.
Bottom line is that Quest did not deliver all of the items promised, most specifically and importantly, viable networking contacts and job leads, career and industry development and a professional marketing plan.
Do not make the same mistake I did. Steer clear from this company.
