Elektro, Inc. Jeremy Levick Brian Pasnick
Rip off, deceptive advertising, fraudulant sales, bate and switch

Shops, Products, Services

I met with the owners of Elektro, Inc. (Jeremy Levick and Brian Pasnick) at a trade show down south about four months ago where they were introducing a "new" type of electronic cigarette. After their sales pitch, I made a large order for their "starter kits" and their cartridges. They filled out an order form, took my name and business infromation down and told me they needed a credit card to complete the sale. I provided all the information that they requested and walked away happy with my decision. That feeling only lasted until I got home and waited and waited for my order to arrive. I emailed, and phoned the company daily only to receive no response by email, and reaching voicemail everytime. I checked with my credit card company to find out it had been charged while I was still at the trade show. THREE weeks later I received my order, or I should say approximately half my order.in the shipment was a note on company letter head from Jeremy Levick saying the rest of my order was on "back order". I put the merchandise I received on display in my store and sold it within two weeks time. I continually tried reaching the "company" inquiring abouit the rest of my order. Finally THREE WEEKS after my first order was received, I got the rest of my purchased order. Then I got my credit card statement. They had charged me a total of four times. Once for the total order while I was at the trade show. Second for shipping and handling for the first shipment (even though I was quoted free shipping on my first order as a new customer). The third charge I was told was for the difference between what I had been quoted and what the actual price was ("we apologize for the inconvenience etc... Etc..."). The fourth charge was for the shipping and handling of the second shipment.in addition to this deceptive and fraudulant activity, the second shipment I received was a "new model" with cartridges that only fit on the "new model". Now my previously purchased starter kits and cartridges were only good until the cartridges ran out, then the customer could no longer purchase anymore cartridges. The "company" told me I could collect these "old Kits" and send them back "at my cost" and they would replace them with the "new models". They not only charged me for the additional shipping and handling, but their "new models and cartridges" were more expensive also, and so my credit card was charged again! Run away from this company! They conduct fraudulant transactions and you will PAY for being ignorant to this warning!
