I recieved a letter in the mail with the return address as PO BOX 717 Markham Station, Markham ON L3P 7V3.
The letter i recieved said i had been choosen to be a "mystery shopper" it included a check for $3,495.00 my instructions were to wire $2,850.00 to someone in London, England and then go to a Home Depot, Gap, JC Penny, Walmart, K-Mart, or a Sears and spend $100 on anything i wanted and i was too keep the merchandise i bought as well as the remaining $400 balance of the check.
The Letter seemed odd to me so i did some research, for one the letter that was sent had several errors. At first glance it all looks real including the check, but it all seemed too good to be true.
I looked up the number on the letter is showed it was a personal cell phone number from Montreal. But the check was drawn on Citizens Bank in Boston MA, but the routing number was from Rhode Island!
Do not fall for this its a fake!!
