XM Sirius-I pay for a year of satellite by credit card -they charge me for 13 months?

XM Sirius Radio has the "opt out" bug. Last year I bought a new car. It came with three months of satellite radio. I like it -close to the end of the the three months I paid for a year by credit card. When my year expired I figured that was the end of it.
