Delay, Deception and Credit Card Abuse

I paid for 6 months in advance for a 5x10 storage space to store my motorcycle.
March 1 thru Aug 31. Gave at least 30 days notice at the end of July that I would remove my bike at the end of August.
They said no problem and I witnessed logging of this notice into my account. I Removed my bike on August 29 but only the security guard was there at the time so I could not collect my $125 deposit.
Tried to collect my deposit over the phone and was told "call me on Wednesday when my secretary is here"and later on... The classic "Check will be in the mail" line. Giving them the benefit of the doubt...
I waited a reasonable 2 weeks. No check came (but no surprise there) so I went there in person and they promptly paid me by crediting my deposit to my credit card and gave me a transaction receipt.
On Sep 27th While reviewing my credit card statements to see if my deposit was actually credited, I found that it was credited on Sep 14 2009 but I then I discovered a fraudulent charge on my credit card dated August 29
for $162.23 by Slope Storage.
Could be an honest mistake on their part but then again... They could also be abusing customers credit cards in hopes that the customer does not notice. If the customer does notice they might simply claim adminstrative error and credit the amount back.
I went there in person again and they offered no explanation or even an apology for this charge, they merely shrugged and credited the amount back to my card. I then secured a signed letter on company letter-head stating that my account is up to date, closed and no further charges would be made.
My advice and reccomendation based on the recurring patterns of delay, deception and fraudulent charges is to stay far away from this business and avoid the possible aggravation.in my opinion this is not an honest business. I also have to say that I had a bad feeling about them from the start but I was in a bind and needed the space desperately... So I took the chance.
