In July I accepted an offer of a free pamphlet from Online Supplier for information about making money on e-Bay. The company wanted my credit card number for a $1.95 shipping charge, which I gave them.
On July 18, there was a $29.95 charge from Newave on my credit card statement. I didn't understand it and immediately cancelled my credit card and sent an notice to the credit card company on August 19.
August 27 I checked my credit card charges via their website. This time there was a charge for $29.95 from Online Suppliers for $29.95. I didn't immediately recognize what was happening, but did send another notice to the credit card company.
I never authorized, nor signed anything for any merchandise. On August 28 I wrote a letter requesting my account be credited for $59.90.
The letter was fairly harsh and indicated the actions I would take if my account was not credited with $59.90.
