Ripoff Late payment fees, when paid in good time. Outlandish ripoff late fees

I have payed on time every month, and receive a statement and pay it... I then go to use my card, and told I had not paid. When I returned home, the latest statement they sent me was for the previous month. I wrote to the Chairman of Best Buy, explaing, not only did I receive a statement a month late, and now had late fees on my account, they had also sent out promotional materials a month late (they had expired).

The response was.in short, tough luck, contact the finance company. The finance company just said " you paid late, that's that". Then a couple of months later, my husband paid his account online, and the payment had cleared in good time, and they slapped a late fee on his account. Yet again, no help from the company. We have cut up our cards, and have told all our friends not to do business with these people.
