Nationwide asset service, inc
We filed with nationwide 4 yrs ago and fullfiled our obligation of payment after 3 years ($20,000) 3 months after completion we received letters from multiple creditors stating no payment was rec'd nationwide does not pay creditors

In order to pay off our debt my wife and I decided to let Nationwide Asset Services, Inc. Help us. Nationwide calculated how much money each month it would take to completely payoff the accounts we had given them.
After completing the 3 years of paying $650.00 a month. Our obligation was completed. However, 2-3 months later creditors started calling and mailing us paperwork that they were never paid.
We re-financed our home (which you should never do to pay off charge cards) and paid off what we could. I now know that this should have never been done. I should have contacted legal help. Nationwide received alot of money to fullfill out debt but we still have it and intrest on top of it all.
Something must be done about this company. I called Nationwide recently for a complete summary of everything that was really paid. They were telling me over the phone but when I asked them to send a copy to me Nationwide's response was "it will take a month or so". I think a week maybe to print and mail this is but another way to put things off.
Nationwide was very eager to take our money (direct withdrawel) but not very good at paying off our debt. Now we are going to court for a debt that was only 7,800. Dollars and is now $19,000. On an account that was supposedly paid off and was frozen at $7,800. We paid Nationwide more than enough money to pay this and all the other creditors.
I would like to file a class action with this company, I am sure there are alot of other people who trusted this company and was let down.
