Sales Deception

APX Salesman walked up to my wife on the street an stated she could get a free promotional security system. The salesman stated it would be used as a recruiting site

Then the salesman went down 4 houses and gave them the same story, at that point my wife called and canceled the service. They rep was apologetic and said ok.

The sales person never left any paperwork, or contract or installment receipts for the $40 dollars that they said would cover the installation of equipment.

No bills, no late notices, no phone calls, then 14 months later we get a call from a Texas bill collector wanting $2600.

Called the APX company and was told that I had signed the contract which I never did. They stated they would send a copy of the contract with a fraud package.

A week later no fraud package or copy of this contract, called the company and was told they don't send fraud packages. When asked to talk to there legal section I was

Told they do not except phone calls. Called the State of Georgia Cunsumer Protection

And they told me that they had no listing of this company.
