In June, I was invited by several friends to go to The Twisted Vine for a wine tasting. The new location, formerly Tony's Wine Warehouse, was still under construction and in need of some help, but the group of 15 where all looking forward to the night.

The wine selection was mediocre, but there were a few nice ones that we tasted and so I purchased a case to have delivered within 1 week from order date. Cost around $280. After almost 3 weeks of no calls, emails, updates, I called in irritation to find the number not working the first time. The second time, I spoke with a manager who told me it would be delivered that Tuesday and Thursday of that week I get a call from a VERY rude lady (Lisa maybe?) saying it will be delivered on Thursday and the delivery guy ran out of time (like this was my fault and how dare I ask).

When I tried to give her feedback, she interrupted me twice and then was very short, did not apologize one time or take responsabilty for no response or how horrible the customer service was. As someone who worked in the service industry for several years I was flabbergasted at how theydidnt seem to care? I asked for refund but since I paid with a check, they said they would mail it to me. Another two weeks went by and no response. I called back again, got voicemail, left several messages and still no response. Fast forward last week, August 15th, (now 3 months) no response, no check and no wine. I called my bank and because I paid with a check they could not reverse the charge. Not only dd this happen to me but 3 other friends that attended that evening. I never imagined that I would attend an establishment and be treated this way. Im working towards all measure to get my moeny back and warn anyone of going to these "wine Tastings" with promises of wine to only receive empty pockets.
