No Customer Satisfaction, Promises Mean Nothing, Do Not Care About Their Customers

Cleveland Business Consultants - do not support their placements: Stay away from these guys, they are concerned primarily with getting paid, not customer satisfaction and placing the right employees - they are
just a very expensive resume service and care only about themselves, not their customers. They do provide a large number of resumes, but their guarantees and marketing promises mean nothing - use firms that stand
by their placement capabilities an stay away from CBC.

Specifically, we retained CBC to recruit
engineers/research scientists for two positions we had open.in negotiating fees, CBC insisted on up front payment for all fees, and spent more time negotiating payment terms than figuring out the position needs and requirements. We offered our standard 30-30-40% payment schedule spread out over the 90 day probationary period that we have used with other recruiters, and to
establish an accelerated payment schedule with CBC we were promised that our "satisfaction is fully guaranteed", so that we did not need to spread the payments out since they fully guaranteed their
work/placements. On this basis we proceeded to place two engineers from CBC in the organization over a four month period. Both have been under performers, and one was let go after 30 days. We offered to settle with
Cleveland business consultants under the industry standard recruiter conversion terms of 1% per day for the time spent with an unsatisfactory employee. CBC refused the offer, saying that the person was terminated
for economic reasons, and demanding their full fee. CBC proceeded to file a lawsuit against us for the full fee.
