Misrepresents product and refuses return

I bought a $399 software program from MacAuthority after carefully detailing my utilization and wondering when the bundle (Workplace for Macintosh 2008) was completely suitable for Msoffice. They assured me it had been. Today, I realize that it's not, and crucial capabilities aren't recognized. They WOn't let me return the program, stating that "exposed" software isn't returnable. It had been difficult to ascertain the application didn't work as displayed till it had been exposed and used.
