Real Estate Fraud, Walter Chintomby Stole my $5000.00 Dollar Deposit

On Sept. 18th of 2008 my father was presented with a dream. The dream of owning his first home. Walter Chintomby, a real estate agent working for Remax Realtors at the time presented us to a property that he says was on auction for the amount of $25000.00 usd. Yes too good to be true. He asked for a deposit $5000.00 dollars made out to the "Star of Guyana LLC" (Flags should go up when writing a check to an LLC) and said the house would be guaranteed. The Following day he asked for more money. My father found it suspicious and ask Walter for his deposit. Walter Chintomby said he would return it and has yet to respond to phone calls, collection letters written by our lawyer, and a civil suit which we won by default because he never showed up. I will continue to pursue him and tell others of his scam.
