I was told I had won a $1000.00 online shopping spree, had to order a variety of subscriptions to redeem!

Viking magazine contacted me about A $1000.00 shopping spree I had
won, all I had to do was order a variety of subscriptions to recieve the spree,
I was sent a release form for the spree along w / a questionaire.

About my likes, hobbies, interests etc, I filled out the questionaire &
release, but before I could even mail that in I started recieving
various magazines, none of which I had chosen or requested.

I bet you can guess what happens next. My credit card is charged
for over $100.00, of which my response was to cancel the card before
they could charge more, which they did'nt like very much.

The next move on they're part is to of course start the rude and
harrassing phone calls, which started today. The first call recieved
this morning went like this-

He (the telemarketer) starts off by telling me I have an overdo amount
owed to his company, of which I replied I never recieved the spree and
I was not interested in his magazines thank you & good bye.

Within approx. 3-4 mins. The phone rang again, this time my husband
answered to ask them what they wanted & he (my husband) was told
he could not be talked to about the situation without my consent.

So being as they wouldnt talk to him he told them that they needed
to quit calling & was laughed at & told that they were going to call every
day until this was resolved, then my husband lost patience swore & hungup.

You'd think it was enough but, 2-3 mins. The phone rang again. Now he was
really upset told the man he was now harassing us, we didnt want them to
call anymore &that we have a great lawyer swore again & hungup again.

Instead of the cell the house line rang it was another man from the same
company again asking for me, he wastold no they were not going to talk to
me and again were told to stop harrasing us &not to call back& hungup on

This time thy must have got the hint because no call back, but if 4 calls in
a 10-15 min. Time frame isnt harrassment I honestly dont know what is.
Being laughed at & told you are going to be called everyday for something
you dont want, didnt send arelease for, & prducts you never ordered &having
$ taken from you for it isnt acompany or buisness its theivery plane & simple.
