A young man posing as a high school baseball player knocked at the door selling magazine subscriptions. Proceeds were supposed to go towards subscriptions for Akron Children's Hospital and remaining profits to be applied toward the ball teams travel expenses to the playoffs. Since we seem to have numerous similar programs being implemented to help cover school costs, I did not think too much about it. After performing a search, I have found similar scams which this company fronts. Of course it is all probably legal since they state they are not related in any way to non-profit or charitable organization, donation, sponsorship, or scholastic program of any kind. But they certainly cashed the checks and supply the receipts. They also do not answer their phone and make it very costly to cancel if you find out prior to the 3 day cancellation. Stay away from this comany!!!
