What a group of morons! I called Geico to cancel my policy as I found a better option yesterday. I was assured by the represenatative that the policy was cancelled and that I did not have to worry about any more payments to Geico. Oh boy, I was wrong. They drafted a double payment. I contacted my bank whom I will keep out of this. They told me to contact Geico. I did that indeed. The represenatative, another one as bright as a dark room told me that they would only refund $300 on July 8.
I was like. WTF! In a nice way. I called my bank to ask if they could reverse the charge. They indicated since it was pending that they could not provide that option. I then called Geico back and stated that what they were offering was not acceptable. I asked what they could do. They said they could offer a refund. However, I would have to wait until Tuesday. I said that was not acceptable. I requested a supervisor.
Another "brilliant" one gets on the phone. All he could do was say how sorry he was that I was given incorrect information. All I can say is that if companies want to lie to you in the face. Simply do it in the beginning. I'm waging war against this farce. I've already filed a complaint with the BBB. I had no idea how many complaints were against them in this site. You would have better luck with the keystone cops than this outfit.
