Your local friendly "Yellow Pages" for business owners? Better check again!

LiveDeal.com advertises as business friendly yellow pages. We all know, use, and understand our local "Yellow Pages" and are as comfortable with Yellow Pages as we are with telephones. (They are not the local Yellow Page ads in your local phone book!) They send you a check for three dollars or some pittance asking you to try their service for 120 days, (you still think local Yellow Pages in your area phone book) and if you did not read the small print on the check that you have deposited, you have just authorized this company to start withdrawing monthly fees from your account for a service you don't understand, want, need, or ever agreed to pay for. This is without any verbal agreement for the service. If your business is a local one, like ours, you don't need national exposure, and on top of that, when I finally figured out what they had been doing for six, yes SIX years my bad, our office had moved twice and they had us listed in an old office. I want our money back and I want this company outed for ripping off struggling business owners. I canceled the so called service by phone and plan to check with the Better Business Bureau and an attorney about these practices.
