Got a bill for $1,070.36 on a new phone # I've had a week, added admistrative adjs

I changed my phone number last week when i found someone had signed my cell number up for 5 different web sites I've never heard of. They said it was a scam and took off the charges. I also changed my phone number. At that time the csr failed to tell me the phone has to be activated, had to call back and wait on hold again. Afew days later I called and asked for a supervisor and made sure my balance was zero which she said it was, and no more scam websites were on my bill.

Today I get a bill of $1,070.36! As anyone would, I freaked out. I called and the csr named Brain said that in notes it said the csr that changed my phone number discussed these charges with me and that they were valid. No such thing happend! He said, so you had a business these charges were for? I said no, I just got this number and I don't and never had any business. He said they charged me Admin adjustments charges of $86493 for unpaid bills! WHAT??? I have never had unpaid bills, I pay in full each month, and do not go over my 900 minutes on my plan.

The csr refused to let me speak to a supervisor, and said no one would be available until after 2pm the following day. I am livid that after being a loyal customer for over 10 years they put lies in my account notes, and tacck on charges to a phone number I've had 1 week. I had no unpaid bills on my old phone number either. The CSR did not care and only wanted to hang up and go home. I have complained to the FCC and will complain to the BBB as well, and any other agencies I can think of. Rip off, fradulant charges by verizon, lies in my account, uncaring csr's
