GP Limited Defective pool

I am writing this report due to the poor product being sold to consumers. I went to Menards over the weekend looking to purchase a pool for my 2 year old daughter, i was looking for something small, but this pool caught my eye. It was a 10'x30" pool from GP Limited, and it was only $39.99, so i purchased this pool along with a cover ($9.99), and chemicals ($12.99). I figured for the money i can buy a pool and wouldn't have to empty it every day and waist water. So i get it home, open it up, read the directions and put it together. And everything went together easily, and filled up great, but once the pool had the water in it for a day, the pool started to split at the seam. Now in the directions, it states to pull on the seams to make sure its not defective. That is fine, but when it has almost a 1000 gallons of water on it for a day, it started to split, and as i was emptying it, it literally split and poured 1000 gallons of water all over my back yard. So after this dilemma, i went back to Menards and exchanged it for another pool, but as you can see i'm writing this rip off report, the new one didn't hold 24hrs later and i was back at square one again.

Now i'm PISSED! I go back to Menards and i ask for a manager, he informs me that they are having serious problems with this pool, and everyone that purchases one, brings it back. I ask why, when i brought it back the first time, no one said anything to me about it being a poor product, and why they were still selling it. I told him that i bought the cover for this pool and chemicals, but he told me i could not return those items. He tells me to spend more money and buy the bigger pool, they weren't coming back defective. I told him i had a 2 year old and the bigger pool isn't going to fly. He offered me in store credit, and i went to a different store and bought a pool that actually did what it was supposed to do; HOLD WATER!!!

I guess you get what you pay for, a product that doesn't work!!!
