New subs brought aboard from Dodge listings and then negotiated to the bone just to get work are the newest victoms, older subs will not continue to contract. 90% may get paid but don't count on the 10% retention... 18 months will go by and before you know it, the job was closed some time before and your money is gone. They'll blame the owners and banks but with a little investigation and talking with other subs you will discover your money is gone and others may be worse off. Contract's mean nothing if they don't have or will pay you the money due.
