Unfair made me pay for calls made on lost phone

I had t-mobile service for 2 phones for over 3 years. My ex-husband had his phone stolen at a flea market but didn't know it until the next day. I called T-Mobile and let them know about the stolen phone and to cease phone calls immediately - a call was already in progress.

Whoever stole the phone started making phone calls to Haiti and T-mobile was bound and determined to charge me for the calls despite the phone being stolen. I told the clerk to look at the pattern of phone calls, they are ALL made in Orlando or Tampa, why the h*ll would t-mobile think we were suddenly calling Haiti. They didn't give a rats a* so i did the next best thing after paying the Haiti bill.

The next month I canceled both phones & why asked a clerk, you've been a customer for 3 years - Yes i said & i should have been treated better when i told you the phone was stolen & was charge $50 for a call to haiti.

Of course she apologized but didn't refund my money. S0 they got the fifty & lost a h*ll of a lot more when i canceled the account.

NOW i have TRACFONE - every 3 months i pay $20 instead of paying tmobile $90 a month.
