Over charge fees and purchase

I spoke to a rep, about leasing the equipment for a daycare that I was running. They didn't charge me until I actually used the machine. My payment was supposed to be 39.99 a month for 24 months. After I contacted them about stopping the lease because we found a machine that we could purchase for about 300.00, I was told that we had to keep our lease and if I was to return it they would than charge me about 2400.00.

I called them to have them send me the return info, and they never sent it. After calling several times, I check my credit report and it is on it under charge off, balance $2397 and missed payments of $394. How when they firstly never charged me and I requested info to have the machine sent back to them, which they never sent. This has been for 3 years and it is still on my credit report.
