Fraudulently Identify Customers

ARS is a real interesting operation. I discovered through the use of an attorney they are tricly users of the system. First they do a NAME SEARCH ONLY to see if someone matches the person they are looking for however they NEVER manage to verify the information. The only accurate information they had was my name - wrong SSN, wrong birth date, wrong adddress, wrong previous addresses but they still associated the account with me SIMPLY based on a NAME! This was verified by Equifax and TransUnion - neither of which would allow a credit entry however the inquiry did appear which by the way HURTS your credit score!!! I contacted Amy Bess, Mr. Jones and finally Mr. Rob Butler. Mr. Butler appeared to be very professional and at least listened as the other two simply yelled, threatened, intimidated and then hung up on me. I had to call back FOUR TIMES. I asked for a ltter of apology and written confirmation this would NEVER be done again to me. However I am curious how they plan on correcting their questionnable practices. BEWARE of this company!!! I have filed a complaint also with the FTC just in case they do not send me the confirmation I requested. And do not let their yelling and badgering dissuade you from pursueing the appropriate areas of get this corrected. Www.ftc. Gov.
