I have written to the Chair of Echo Star twice about the service they are providing through a "reseller" of DISHTV. They have never even given the decency of a reply. The fact they won't reply shows their level of unprofessionalism and their disregard for their customers. Seems ECHO STAR sells it service to smaller "providers" who in turn sell it to communities such as we have in southwest Florida. The issue is the service is horrible, the signal is converted to analog BEFORE we get it, the "reseller" has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau and the 'reseller" thinks its just a few "troublemakers" or "nuts' who are complaining since they are not hearing from all 473 homes.

The State and Federal agencies are useless. They believe whatever the vendor says and never check anything out.
I never believed in government regulation as an answer but I am helping push for greater oversight and enforcement against schemes like this.
