Dish Network/Echo Star Nightmare, Should be investigated. Some should be held accountable

Came as packaged deal w/Embarq. Charged 427.00 to my credit card because they waited two mos. To send boxes for me to return equipment, causing me to incur penalties on my account.

I called several times and always got a different rep. And no results. They called me continously wanting a payment for services I had cancelled. I refused to sign their contract for 18 months and they informed me that installtion fees would not be returned which was fine with me.

My check for my last payment of 14.02 cleared on 2/13/08 and they called on 2/5/08 wanting a payment which I authorized from my checking account and I'm waiting to be reimbursed for that. I pray that someone will personally or collectively put them out of business.

I have been scammed by so many companies since my move here and must admit I'm very disappointed to see so many crooks in NC.
