Illegally overcharge customers

Don't do business with K Jordan Fashion they are more trouble than they are worth. They lie about their fees, will ruin your credit and bully you into paying more than you owe.

I purchased around $300.00 in clothing from the online retailer known as KJordan back in January using their credit line. When I received the clothing it was poor quality so I sent it back using their Smart Label for easy returns. The invoice said the return fee would be $7.95 billed to my account.

The return took almost four weeks to process on their end which is ridiculous in itself as it was sent UPS. I then received a bill for a $10.00 late fee that had conveniently been posted the day before they posted the return plus the expected return label fee of $7.95. I sent them a check for the $7.95 fee a a letter requestinig they remove the late fee because the return cleared my balance to $0 and you cannot charge a late fee on $0.

No response to my request. I then received a bill saying that I now owe them $43.00 but there is no itemization just a total. I send another letter more detailed explaining the situation and about two weeks later a woman leaves me a voice mail acknowledging that the late fee needed to be reversed but that I owed another $17.00 for the return shipping. Their return label and website clearly state that the return fee is $7.95 but now they are billing me over $26.00.

I waited for a corrected statement to show up but to my surprise they send me a letter threatening to report me to the credit bureau if I don't pay the $43.00 that they are billing me in error. Now they are calling my house 6 or 7 times a day and either hanging up when I answer or leaving computerized messages on my machine.

I am really believing that they wait to post their returns so that they can charge late fees and finance charges to unsuspecting customers. I know they are fraudulently billing return shipping charges and reporting false information to credit agencies. I am going to have to break down and pay the $43.00 bringing my total paid to $54.00 for items I don't even own. What a bunch of thieves.
