Extremely Overpriced & Hostile Attitude

I recently visited this business (if you want to call it that) for the first time. The purpose of my visit was to inquire about some river rock. While there I spoke with the owner who told me he was out of the particular product I needed. He told me he would call me if he could get it but relayed the "inflated" cost meanwhile. The cost he quoted did not even include delivery or any labor, or even tax. The cost was solely for the product.

As any consumer would I left to shop around for a normal price that would also be in stock. An hour after I left the owner left me a voicemail advising he could get the product, and if interested to call him back by 1pm that day.By the time I received his voicemail on my end it was 1:05pm. I felt the need to not call him because he had stated "to call if interested" only, and before 1pm as he requested.

The next morning I was completely shocked to receive a hostile voicemail from the owner stating "... You should find your river rock some where else, don't waste my time anymore!!!" As a business owner, spending time on a customer is not wasting time in any case. It's providing a service that you signed up to provide when you opened your business. Also I feel it is unethical to charge such prices to consumers. (o Owner: unfortunately, negative news does spread faster than positive). I am happy to conclude I was able to find an ethical, professional business that same day that provided the product I needed at a fraction of the cost.
