Refuses to refund $ on a returned product due to poor delivery & customer service

I placed an order for flowers with this company on Tues, Feb 12. The flowers were to be delivered to my wife as a surprise @ our address on Thur, Feb. 14. Keep in mind, the order included a $10.95 rip off delivery charge & this is a local floral shop!

On the delivery day, the delivery man, whom didn't speak any English, did not have directions to our address. So he called my wife to ask for them. She couldn't understand him but finally realized he was lost and tried to help him understand where to go. After numerous phones calls & harrassment from the delivery man, he finally reaches our address 2 hours later! Not once did he apologize nor did we receive a phone call from the floral shop regarding the disasterous delivery.

Now on top that, the flowers were far less in value than expected especially for the steep price! Once I was informed of the really bad service & product provided to us, I contacted the floral shop by phone to address the issues with the manager. I claimed that I wanted to return the flowers for a refund. She told me that she would have to speak with the owner (who is not in the shop) and that is all she could do for me at that time.

In the meantime, I bring back the flowers to the shop & clearly state that I was returning them because I was not satisfied at all with the product and especially the service. Again, I was told by the manager that a refund would be up to the owner and she would contact me the next business day. So I leave the shop with no flowers & no refund!

At 5:30pm the next business day, the owner still had not contacted me so I had to call the shop to ask what their resolution to the problem was. The manager once again answers the phone and tells me that the owner, who conviently is not in the shop again, will not refund me my $! Also, she had the audacity to tell me that they still had my flower if I wanted them after I clearly stated that I did not want them! I told her this was unacceptable and I wanted to hear from the owner!

5:00pm rolls around the next day and still no phone call from the owner so once again I had to call them. The owner still has not appeared in the shop either! I told the manager to give my phone # to the owner again and she better call me!

It is now Wed, Fed 20th and still no refund or phone call. I called the shop and even the owner stopped by the shop, she decided I was not worth her time. I called again to find out why no phone call and told them I would be going to the Better Business Bureau and the local media with this scam!

This company is sufficiently unproffesional on many levels and I WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN NOR SHOULD ANYONE ELSE!!!
