Grant Research Guides
Grantresearchguide.com Lied about any monthly fees when asked. Took my debit card info, then after that was done told me there is a fee per month!

I had received an advertisement in my e-mail
showing government grants & how to obtain
them. I wasn't that interested as it seemed too
good to be true for free, so I didn't pursue it
further.
I received a phone call tonight from a man named
John L. Who works for Grant Research Guides telling
me that I could receive a free grant writing kit in
the mail, all I needed to pay was the $2.95 S&H
fee. That was fine. I then told him I wasn't interested
if there was a monthly fee and he assured me there
wasn't, then proceeded to get my debit card info.
As soon as he had my information he informed me that
there was a monthly fee... I immediately told him not
to charge a penny to my card, that he had lied and
misrepresented himself and the company and he put
a supervisor on the phone.
I told her not to charge anything to my card or I would
come here and report them, and also call the Better Business Bureau. She kept insisting that I had agreed to the fee and that she couldn't do anything, to which I replied that I would absolutely take action should she go ahead with that payment.
I hung up on them, and they proceeded to phone my cell twice.
I ignored both calls, they went to my voicemail twice and did not say a word, but rather hung up. Perhaps I put the fear into them, but do not believe a word they say! I never have problems with companies online or otherwise, and I will not tolerate outright lies and hidden agendas!
