I wish my deployed husband were coming back to a furnished home!

After I made the reservation to move from Oregon to Texas, and to also get the items from my Texas Storage unit I paid my deposit. A month before the move I called back to ensure everything was still in order. Turns out the person who scheduled my move was fired and he did not handle my account correctly. They were not licensed local moves and therefore they would not get my items out of storage.

This made me very angry since I had found cheaper companies, but I had decided to go with them since they claimed they could do it. Pick-up day arrives and they were 4 hours later than their window without so much as a courtesy call.

Delivery window is 2 weeks, so I call after the first week to see what time frame I am looking at. They claim the very last day (march 31st). I'm okay with this since my husband shouldn't be home until the 4th. I was careful with my planning so when my husband came home from a 15 month deployment he could relax and not have to unpack or HAVE NO CLOTHES! I packed myself 2 duffel bags since I was expecting a 2 week delay, but none for him.

The last day of the window I call 3 different times and each time I am told the driver will contact me soon. After 3 times I get a call back from the receptionist saying it is going to be a couple of days late. I asked her what is a couple and she told me 3 days. I am livid. I have one day to unpack IF they are on time this time before my husband comes home.

I wish I would have know about this site before and I would have taken the advice of the lady before me. I am curious how my motorcycle and other belongings are going to look when I get them here.
