Moving Experience

We used PODS to move from one city to another. Overall, the experience was great - we only had to pack everything up once and unpack once! We did have a time lag between the two homes, so we did store our belongings for a month. The only downside to using the PODS, is that the storage fees for that month of storage started when the PODS was dropped off at our home - instead of when it was picked up from our home. We knew this in advance, so there were no surprises - but it was kind of a bummer to have to pay an extra month of storage for a couple of days that we would not have had to pay if the storage started when the unit was picked up. That said, everyone we dealt with at PODS.com was helpful and reliable. The drivers were professional and courteous, and we had no problems whatsoever. Our belongings were kept safe and dry in the PODS.
