Rip off, monopoly, un ethical, non support, soldiers dying to spend there funds on a scam company

Aafes,

AAFES is supposed to be a store to support the Military and DOD personal who travel abroad by supporting them with products items when they are abroad travel or serving their country in the time of need. They cliam they there to support the troops and the personal who support them.

As being a prior military and also now working under DOD and see how AAFEES support ripping off the soldiers who risk their lifes so they can make a decent buck off the people die every day so they can make that $.

When I was traveling in Iraq during my tours, I notice the price of the items were different in numerous bases where they will be selling DVD, Computers, and accessories "games, thumbdrives, clothes and etc"

At one base for example they were selling this thumbdrive "same company same type model" for $90, at the other base I notice the exact same thumbdrive being sold for 45$. When I saw the price, I went to the manager and they claimed they get the items off the computer, and saying they put the price on the product when its issued to the store, even though the other store was selling it a lower price?

Currently Apple released that IPOD touch prices has lowered down to 229, but aafes still selling the IPOD touch at the price when it was first released at 399!? If you bring them a current price listing from APPLE store, they will not, change the price.

AAFES supports AT&T phone card rip off, The company AT&T charges 25 cents a minute for a soldier to call back home, its been in the news where a soldier will spend up to 3-4000.00$

Most of the AAFES stores do not follow under one guideline, you will notice for ever single aafes store you visit, have different rules and regulations for returns and exchanges. For one store in Mosul Iraq, if you buy any HCT product and if you dont have the recepiet even though your still under the 15 days policy, they will not even exchange it. Even though HCT has a high record for faulty products.

AAFES take bids on items to be sold in Iraq and forieng countries knowing that the personal will be limited to where to shop for products, if they are stuck in europe they know the personal will want to shop in the military bases if they want to avoid the high Euro exchange rate, so they go in the military bases to go against the high prices, and this goes for military bases in Iraq.
(how many times do you see people going outside a military base of Iraq to go shopping)

But wait they are going to say, they have local shops in the military bases in Iraq? Well there been point where AAFES has talk to the military not allowing the locals to sell DVDS in the military bases, and also almost forcing the locals on the military bases to be part of aafes, which also letting them jack up their prices.

Last time I check, U. S Military base in any country is supposed to be following laws back in the United States.

AAFES supports the MWR "MORALE WELFARE SUPPORT" Center where the soldiers go to avoid the stress from combat in the warzone, or to call back home. If anyone would go to visit these MWR, they have outdated equipment, used dusty. If you would go into these So called MWR center, they are all subcontracted out to 3 parties who really dont give a rat about the soldiers. AAFES claims they give out millions of dollars, for all the MWRS I have visited through out the theater of Iraq. I think the people are pocketing the money and just cliaming they are just doing this.

Most DVDS being sold for 24-29$ DVDS that are 15 years old 14$, DVDs exceeding 20 years will be sold for 8-7.

I hope ripoff report will give the consideration of doing a full on investigation on this. I see all the video news and reports on other scams and ripoffs. I just hope take this on in the consideration.

We need your help, to support our troops, even tho you dont support the war but look at where our children are being abused at, by our own goverment. Stop this!
