At Christmas time, we bought a $50 card for a gift and one for us. On the surface, it looks like a good deal because of the cost per minute.
In reality, it is NOT a good deal, because about every third time I use the card, I have to hang up and call for customer service because the echo of my own voice is so loud on the line that I can not hear the other person's response. This morning is typical - I have about 30 minutes here to make 3 long distance calls.
I tried the first one, I can't hear the other person because of the 4 second delay echo, so I hung up and called for service. She tells me that it will be fixed in 30 minutes.
In the meantime, I now have to make the 3 calls using my more expensive long distance but I will still be charged the weekly service amount, my available phoning minutes will have gone down, and I have not been able to use the card.
I have asked several times for a supervisor, waited on hold, left a message but no one has returned my call. You guys are making money because I have a card that I cannot use, and I am spending money on a service with no value to me.
Please call me and let me know what the solution is to this problem, and be assured that I will be sharing this problem in a way that protects other consumers from this ongoing scam. (This is my actual letter to the company)
