Be aware you must pay shipping charges for the replacement of a defective mattress or box spring that is delivered to your home. This includes manufacturing defects that are not visually detectable upon delivery. Be aware this clause is clearly stated in the sales contract you are required to sign. It is a rather long contract which includes the applicable clauses near the bottom of the form.

You will also find that their customer service peoples' we gotcha formal and rude attitude is less than should be expected. I was told it was my fault that I hadn't read and understood the contract. YEP! I suppose it was my fault that the manufacture and their shipping department didn't verify the products quality before it left their possession. Evidently the Implied warranty of Merchantability ends at the shipping department door.

Bottom line, I paid $2021.98 for a product that is less than satisfactory. I chose to refuse the replacement item. There was no guarantee it would be any better and I would have another estimated $100 delivery charge tacked on. Based upon my experience, Iyou should probably be concerned about the Simmons Mattress peoples product quality.

If you want to take the risk of paying an additional delivery cost and slow, rude customer service then Sleepys is the place to buy.
